How to Set Up Your Email for Sending Campaigns

This guide will walk you through how to connect your first sender account using any of the available setup options.

Before you can start sending pitches to influencers, you’ll need to connect your sender email account. This ensures that all campaign emails come directly from your verified address.


Navigating to Sender Accounts

From the top navigation menu, click Sender Accounts, or you can go directly to https://app.pitchee.ai/dashboard/sender-accounts. This page is where you can manage, verify, or add new sender emails used for your campaigns.

Once you’re there, click Add New Sender to begin connecting your first account.


Choose a Connection Method

You’ll be given three ways to connect your sender account, depending on your email type or business setup.



A. Use Gmail App Password

For personal or generic Gmail accounts (e.g., [email protected]). This method uses a secure app password generated from your Google Account. To connect:

  • Create an App Password in your Google Account settings.

  • Copy and paste it into Pitchee when prompted.

B. Use GSuite / Google Workspace oAuth

For business emails under Google Workspace (e.g., [email protected]). This method uses Google’s secure OAuth connection — no manual password entry required. To connect:

  • Select this option.

  • Sign in with your business email.

  • Approve access to complete the setup.

💡 Can be used for easier linking of personal emails, and recommended for teams and professional domains.


C. Use IMAP/SMTP Setup

For custom domains or legacy systems. If your email provider doesn’t use Gmail or Workspace, you can manually connect via IMAP/SMTP. To connect:

  • Enter your IMAP and SMTP server details.

  • Input your email credentials.

  • Save the setup to activate your sender account.

💡 Best for custom email systems and advanced users.


After Connecting

Once connected, your sender email will appear in the Sender Accounts list with its status. You can now:

  • Use it to send campaigns.

  • Add more sender accounts.

  • Switch senders for different campaigns as needed.
