How to connect Pitchee to your Gmail Sender Account (Using Google App Password)

To send email campaigns via Pitchee using your Gmail account, you’ll need to connect your sender account securely. Google requires the use of App Passwords for third-party apps like Pitchee to access your account.

Why use an App Password?

App Passwords are more secure than your main password. They’re unique, auto-generated, and only give access to specific apps (like Pitchee) without compromising your full Google account.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure:

Step-by-Step: Create an App Password

  1. Log in to your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com

  2. Go to Security > Signing in to Google > App Passwords or visit directly: https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords

  3. Create 'Pitchee' as a new App Password

  4. Copy the 16-digit code generated by Google and paste it on Pitchee.

    3. App Password (paste the 16-character app password you generated from Google)

  6. Click 'Add Sender Account'.

✅ Once connected, your Gmail will be verified and ready to send campaigns from Pitchee.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Error logging in? Double-check that:

    • You’re using the App Password (not your main Gmail password)

  • Want to revoke access? Go back to App Passwords in your Google account and remove it.
