Creating and Managing Segments List

Segments help you organize and manage your influencers more efficiently by grouping them into customized categories.

Make your list easier to track, assign, and automate outreach based on specific influencer batches. This guide walks you through how to create, manage, and use segments across your workflow.

Where to Find Segments

Segments are located under the My Influencers section.

To access them:

  1. Click the Segments tab

Here, you’ll see all segments you’ve created.

Segments work like folders that separate influencers based on your chosen categories (e.g. niche, campaign status, priority, or engagement level).

Creating a New Segment

You can create a segment directly from the Segments page.

Steps:

  1. Click the "New Segment +" button

  2. Enter a segment name

  3. Click "Add Segment"

Your new segment will appear immediately in the Segments list.

Tip: Use clear and consistent naming (e.g. High Priority Influencers, UGC Creators, Campaign Replies) to stay organized.

Creating Segments During Campaign Automation

You can also create a segment while launching a campaign using Automations.

How it works:

  1. In the Automate & Schedule step, add an automation

  2. Select Assign to Segment as the action

  3. Click Add Segment

  4. Enter a name and create the segment

This works the same way as creating a segment from the Segments tab.

Pro Tip: This is perfect for automatically grouping influencers based on actions like replies, opens, or link clicks.

Default “Unassigned” Segment

All influencers are automatically placed under Unassigned by default.

  • Unassigned acts as a holding folder for influencers not yet categorized

  • Once an influencer is moved to a created segment, they will no longer appear under Unassigned

Assigning Influencers to Segments

You can move influencers into:

  • Newly created segments

  • Existing segments

Influencers can belong to multiple segments, but:

  • They cannot remain under Unassigned once assigned elsewhere

  • There will be no duplicate under Unassigned after assignment

Why Use Segments?

Segments help you:

  • Keep influencer lists clean and organized

  • Track batches of influencers more easily

  • Automate workflows based on influencer behavior

  • Improve targeting and campaign efficiency
